Proving ghosts exist can be murder…
Forty-something psychic medium Marna Langley, a paranormal investigator and rising television personality, faces off against a world-renowned debunker.
With only 48-hours to investigate the infamous cemetery caretaker’s house, Marna, along with her ghost-shifting cat, and her team set out to capture evidence of numerous reported hauntings.
But while she deals with unpredictable spirit channeling sessions and a glitchy crystal ball, the debunker goes missing and Marna’s co-host is blamed.
As she and her crew film a Midnight Calls episode, they discover the debunker’s body. Proving the co-host innocent may be impossible because he, along with the locals—both living and dead—believe he’s guilty of this most recent murder in Death’s Door, Tennessee.
All Hallows’ Eve, a residual haunting and a murder… Welcome to Death’s Door, Tennessee.
The revered All Hallows’ Festival comes to a screeching halt when an overbearing pumpkin-carving contestant meets her untimely end.
As an unidentified ghost wanders the winding paths of the corn maze, eternally seeking her way out in a never-ending residual haunting, Marna Langley, psychic medium and cohost of the Midnight Calls television show, must investigate the current mystery along with the paranormal.
In a town built on supernatural secrecy, witnesses and suspects alike thwart Marna’s efforts to solve the murder. While danger threatens the life of her beloved niece, Marna’s efforts to keep Bridget safe go terribly wrong, and the hauntings at the All Hallows’ Haunted House rages out of control and rocks the very foundations of Death’s Door.
Forewarned by an escort to the dead who board the Ghost Train running through Marna’s apartment complex courtyard, Marna holds a seance to call forth the newly and not-so-new dead.
Death’s Door, Tennessee… You never know who—or what—will come knocking.
An old case comes back to haunt Marna Langley and the Midnight Calls crew. When an investigation goes wrong and Marna once again faces the poltergeist that nearly took her life, not even being able to commune with and channel the dead can rescue her from being accused of murder.
But the two-story Holiday Emporium in Ghosten Valley hosts some big, bad entities who have a young woman, the source of the poltergeist energy, under their influence. Decorations become grave markers and ghosts from Marna’s past overshadow holiday spirits. As holiday celebrations approach, a ghostly uprising burgeons in the town she and the Midnight Calls crew now call home.
When Lil, the show’s feline mascot, comes under scrutiny because her special abilities are revealed, Marna realizes she and her team don’t have a ghost of a chance to come out of this supernatural investigation unscathed.
